Deputy Prime Minister to recognise achievements of RuralBiz Training students

The achievements of graduating students will be celebrated in an Online Community Recognition Ceremony on Thursday 17th September at 3 pm.

The Hon Michael McCormack, Deputy Prime Minister will address students and commend their commitment to pursuing further education in the fields of Agriculture, Agribusiness, Horticulture and other related courses. The Hon Mark Coulton MP will present students with their certificates.

RuralBiz Training specialises in delivering nationally accredited training to working farmers in regional and remote areas. The training is designed to be relevant and practical and offers students the flexibility to work in a self-paced online format with support from a range of specialist staff.

Kathy Sims CEO said “I’m extremely proud of our graduates– many of our students have faced the challenges of drought, fire or flood – and more recently COVID-19. Our students have shown real grit and resilience to continue their studies through these hardships. Students use the skills that they have developed to improve their farm management and productivity.”

We will also be taking a few moments to honour our student Adam Fitzpatrick whose life was sadly cut short just weeks after completing his Advanced Diploma of Agribusiness Management. His qualification will be presented to his family. 30.08.1999 - 25.08.2020
