Below are student profiles from our new group of International Students. They have just moved to Armidale to study a Diploma of Agriculture with us and are looking for work in the agriculture industry. These students have all been in Australia for 18 months or more (from Colombia and Brazil), have the right to work in Australia and are available Friday through Monday for work. Most importantly, they have all been in the workforce for 10+ years, are interested in Agriculture and keen to work. They have all completed Chemical Card Accreditation. Each student has created an introduction video.
Diego Huertas
- I am Diego, 29 years old. I have experience working in farms and large animals, planting trees, fruit picking and general farm maintenance.
- I am a physically fit, smart, fast learner, responsible and reliable person. I am currently looking for any type of position on a farm,
- I am interested to learn more about farm work in Australia.

Marcos Botelho
- Use of forklift and High-reach for moving, organising pallets and loading and unloading trucks
- Using hand power tools for drilling, demolitions, cutting and chasing in association with builders’ work
- Support leaders in monitoring, analysing and investigating reported injuries, incidents, and near misses and ensuring appropriate corrective actions are taken to minimise risk in silos operations
- I would like to work in any area involving crops or livestock and get my hands dirty.
