This was one of the biggest strengths of RuralBiz Training when Shaelyn was looking to start studying. Shaelyn, from Ringarooma in Tasmania found RuralBiz Training through Facebook and understood the positive impact her studies would have on the family run business.
Working on her parents farm, Shaelyn is kept busy milking over 500 crossbred cows and calves during the springtime. She is helped by her finance, twin 10-year-old stepsons and 2-year-old son and “loves working on a family farm. The kids also love being able to help as much as possible”.
Studying with RuralBiz Training has allowed Shaelyn to stay up to date with the latest processes and procedures in Agriculture. Multiple parts of her assignments have been included in the families updated farm business plan and they are able to better understand the financial requirements of the farm.
